This project focuses on establishing an African Transdisciplinary Network, and will bring together representatives from the ACCAI and WESTCAL African research networks by November this year.
The purpose of establishing the African TD Network is two-fold: (a) to respond to the global challenges facing the African Continent (e.g. Climate Change, Food Security etc.) with context-relevant transformative transdisciplinary research and (b) to train future African thought-leaders in TDR methodologies (especially at the PhD and Masters level) who would be capable of responding to the said global challenges facing Africa within their own contexts.
