Hope Mpata
Profile
Hope Mpata is a dedicated professional with ten years’ experience in developing and facilitating programmes. These programmes are aimed at equipping farmers in rural areas with the knowledge to improve their livelihoods. She holds a Master of Agriculture degree in Rural Development from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Extension from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture. She previously worked as a junior researcher at SADC (Southern African Development Community) Waternet, where she contributed to crop modelling research in Sub-Saharan Africa. She has also collaborated with other organisations on project implementation for development.
