Reinhold Mangundu

Profile

Reinhold Mangundu is a poet, community development planner, sustainability researcher, and environmental activist passionate about people and the planet. He holds a Master of Philosophy in Sustainable Development, Planning, and Management, as well as a postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development from the University of Stellenbosch. He has an Honours Degree in Regional and Rural Development from the Namibia University of Science and Technology.

His current PhD research explores the transformative potential of youth-led initiatives under the Seeds project in achieving realistic pathways toward radical futures. For his MPhil, he explored participatory games as a science interface for communicating complexity and promoting transformative change. During his PGDip, he developed a passion for applying systems language to better understand systems behavior and emerging challenges of the Anthropocene, which inspired his MPhil research.
