Rob Smith

Profile

Rob Smith holds an MA in English Literature from the University of Cape Town. His previous research spanned literary theory, continental philosophy, and South African literature. Rob’s current research focuses on the evolving sustainable financial landscape, particularly the intersection of public and private institutions and resources in financing SDGs. He aims to explore how the shift in global public policy is transforming the regulatory and governance landscape of international development finance and the impacts on the domestic legal, political, and civic constitutions of states. He is passionate about driving positive change and contributing to the realisation of a Just Transition in South Africa and around the world.
