The Republic of Helderberg is part of the amaMaties Cluster which is one of eight student communities on the Stellenbosch University campus. The amaMaties cluster values respect, individuality, unity, empowerment, and a sense of belonging. The Cluster is comprised of Erica residence, Serruria residence, Nemesia residence, Huis Neethling residence, Equite PSO and Capri PSO (including Helderberg residence).
The amaMaties cluster provides a place for social interaction, belonging access to peer support which allows you to grow as an individual that attributes to a holistic university experience.
