These case discussions tries to answer the question of how to manage a knee injury.

The first case discussed is an acute dislocation. Here the priority is to check for, and treat, vascular injury.

Other cases discussed are the indications for repair in the sportsman with an anterior cruciate avulsion versus a more sedentary individual with a similar injury.

A meniscal injury in an active patient is another discussion point. The older patient with joint line tenderness which could be attributed to either osteoarthritis or a degenerate meniscus is also dealt with.
