MA in Journalism
This is a taught master's programme requiring students to visit the Stellenbosch campus for the attendance of two series of block lectures. Students may make appointments for supervision in between. Students choose between coursework plus a 25% research assignment, or coursework plus a 50% thesis, or a 100% thesis.
The coursework entails electives such as:
- Media Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Media Ethics
- Media, Culture and the Information Society
- Media History
- Science Communication
Applications close at the end of August and selection takes place in September.
