Broad degree programmes with various career focuses

The Faculty's broad degree programmes allow students considerable scope in combining subjects or choosing a focal area (suggested subject combination). Each subject combination or focal area prepares you for a different line of work.

If you are still uncertain about the exact direction you wish to take in economic and management sciences, then register for the BCom (Management Sciences) degree, as it gives you the widest possible choice of future options.

In the first year, broad programmes offer more or less the same subjects. This means that after your first year of study, having familiarised yourself with the basic fields of study in the economic and management sciences, you will with greater confidence switch to a suitable degree programme and select your preferred module combination for your second year.
