Steinhoff Maties Hockey and Maties Sport is looking at improving its High Performance Programme, with appointing two full time coaches.
We are excited to announce that Ashlin Freddy will be the head full-time coach of the Steinhoff Maties Men’s team assisted by Martin Schouten. On the women’s side we have Satchi Reddy taking over in a full time position and will be assisted by Michael van Rensburg.
The objective is to expose our players to high quality technical, tactical, one on one and small group sessions during times that suit the students-players academic schedules. With full-time coaches we will also be in a better position to track the development of players, through the use of technology, and providing regular feedback etc.
The two first team sides will also have assistant coaches working with the head coaches on improving the teams- and individual performances.
