Biography
Mukhtar graduated from the Department of Mathematics in University of Ilorin with First Class honours. With a strong desire to impact innovative knowledge and ideas, he mentored several students among his junior colleagues, both morally and academically. In 2021, Mukhtar was awarded Certificate of Merit for his tremendous contribution to Gbagba community in educational development. He hails from Ilorin, Nigeria.
Research
Mukhtar is interested in Population dynamics and Adaptive dynamics. His Masters research revolves round Eco-evolutionary mathematics. This is a field where mathematical models of ecological and evolutionary concepts are formulated and analysed. With this, he intends to help conservationists to predict the outcome of biological invasions.
