Precious’ research interest lies in different biological areas particularly, ecology and epidemiology. Her current research focuses on eco-evolutionary processes acting on communities with various species. Of particular interest, the community patterns that will be formed after continuously introducing new species into the community are going to be explored. She is interested in the position of fitness-maximizing traits of an individual species and the evolutionarily stable strategy is sought such that no more rare mutants with alternative strategies will invade the community.
