Biography

Rebacca grew up in the Karoo before moving to Stellenbosch for a BA Degree in Environment and Development Studies, following which she did her honours in Geography and Environmental Studies (GIS, Disaster Risk, Urban Theory) and graduated first in class. There after Rebecca lectured Geography in the Education Department at Stellenbosch University while completing my Masters in Geography and Environmental Studies. Her current responsibilities within the CGA include the facilitation of the Hortgro-funded Data CoOP project in collaboration with Dr Gulu Bekker of the Department of Conservation Ecology and Entomology at Stellenbosch University.
