The CGA would like to say farewell to GIS & Earth Observation Specialist Gerhard Myburgh, who is leaving to take up a position as a GIS Programmer at Optron (PTY) Ltd.
It has been a great pleasure working with Gerhard and the CGA would like to thank him for his time and dedication during the four plus years he spent at the CGA. He has been a valuable employee, being integral to the development and implementation of the Stellenbosch University Digital Elevation Model (SUDEM), the 2012 Eastern Cape Land Cover, as well as contributing to numerous other GIS and EO projects. We wish him the best as he embarks on this new endeavour.
