Japanese Language Course (N4) – Applications Now Open


Stellenbosch University Japan Centre (SUJC) in association with the Japanese Language Club of South Africa (JLCSA) are delighted to invite you to apply for an online JLPT N4 (Upper Beginners Level) Japanese language course at Stellenbosch University.

In this course, students will learn: 

* Informal speech
* Honorific and extra modest speech
* Express thoughts and opinions
* Report someone’s speech
* Talk future plans
* Talk about our experiences
* Express what we have to do
* Ask for and give advice
* Express our hopes and wishes
* Grumble and gossip
* Express our regret
* Ask about tours and make reservations
* Order food in a restaurant or shop
* Make plans for the trip with friends
* Describe symptoms of illness

Teaching will commence on 2 March 2024 – 30 November 2024 from 9am – 11am every Saturday.

Teaching will be online for a duration of 40 weeks, 2 hours per week
