Dr Ruth Albertyn graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Master's (Cum Laude) and PhD in Adult Education. She teaches research methodology and supervises students on a Master's and doctoral level. She is involved in capacity development for academics at various Southern African universities. She has won awards for teaching, research, and an international award for outstanding review. She supervised the student who won the award for best research across all Master's programmes at the Stellenbosch Business School. Her research focus is on doctoral education, postgraduate supervision and researcher development and she is currently working on a project on Doctoral Intelligence.
