Kirsi Pyhältö, PhD. is full professor of educational sciences in the Faculty of Educational Sciences, at the University of Oulu, research director in the Centre for University Teaching and Learning, at the University of Helsinki and Extra Ordinary Professor, at the University of Stellenbosch. Her research interest include, doctoral education and post PhD careers, school development, teachers´ professional agency, and student and teacher well-being.
Pyhältö is leading two active research groups: Learning and Development in School-research group Read More and From PhD. Student to Academic Expert- research group Read More She is founding co-coordinator of EARLI Special Interest Group 24: Researcher Education and Careers.
