Biography
Abdulrahaman Lawal Suleiman originates from Northern Nigeria, West Africa. He is astounded by nature and wildlife, particularly animals. His hobbies include watching movies, brisk walking and has passion for sports like tennis, martial arts and kickboxing. Suleiman also loves to impart knowledge through teaching.
Research
Suleiman is enthusiastic about interdisciplinary research involving dynamical systems arising from fields of natural sciences such as Biology and Chemistry, as well as Engineering and Social Sciences. His PhD research focuses on the ecological and evolutionary modelling of thermal adaptation in fluctuating environments using the Mathematical framework of Adaptive Dynamics (AD). Using the proposed model, his aim is to investigate how species adapt to their natural environment in response to climate change.
