Together with the CSIR, Stellenbosch University and Nelson Mandela University, we have created  data which feeds into the Coastal Viewer tool for the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment to assess where the coast will be impacted the most. This forms part of the National Coastal Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment, funded by GIZ, that aims to mitigate climate change and inform decision making around the future of South Africa’s coast line.
