Capstone assignment title:
Strategies for Effective Supervision: The Role of Feedback
Capstone assignment abstract:

There is consensus on the crucial role that effective feedback plays in the success of the doctoral studies. However, this role could be understood from different perspectives by the doctoral students and supervisors. Importantly, communicating effectively by providing timely and clear feedback is important. The role of feedback for effective supervisory practices is undoubtedly crucial as it has developmental imperatives. Feedback is a formative assessment that can contribute significantly to the outcome of the summative process. In this way, it will contribute to the increase in doctoral graduates in Africa.
