Applications are invited for a POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP at CREST to to work in the following areas and projects:
- An ongoing project at CREST on funding flows of STI to African countries
- A current project to be upscaled on developing indicators for the contribution of SA universities to regional innovation
- Taking responsibility for the survey administration of at least two web-based surveys conducted by CREST
The fellowship is available for a period of two years, commencing 1 January 2025. The successful applicant will be based in Stellenbosch. Please note that postdoctoral fellows are not appointed as employees and are therefore not eligible for employee benefits.
Requirements:
- PhD in science and Technology studies (obtained in the last 5 years)
- Familiarity with bibliometric databases
- Proven experience of web-based survey management and administration
- Proven experience of working in an international research team
- Excellent writing skills in English
