An opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher at CREST is currently available. Applications are invited for POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS in the areas of program evaluation (especially educational evaluation), higher education studies and experience working with bibliometric methods and tools. It is also expected that the successful candidate will have a strong background and competencies in quantitative (statistical packages such as SPSS)  and qualitative data analysis software such as Atlas/ti. research methods.

The fellowship is available for a period of two years, starting 1 December 2024, and may be renewed based on performance and available funding. Please note that postdoctoral fellows are not appointed as employees and are therefore not eligible for employee benefits.

Requirements:

  • A PhD in the social science that is not older than five years.
  • Previous experience in performing systematic reviews of selected fields or topics
  • Experience in the field of education (both as far as curriculum development and monitoring and evaluation is concerned).
  • Proven publication record.
  • Computer literacy, with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, ATLAS.ti and SPSS, as well as good writing skills.
