On 15 December 2023, Prof Heidi Prozesky presented a keynote talk at the Closing Ceremony of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD), which was held at the CERN Science Gateway in Geneva. Her presentation focused on recommendations to support the next generation of scientists in Africa, based on key findings from a multi-country study conducted at CREST.
