The Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa has an exciting postdoctoral opportunity for research on public communication and engagement in social sciences and humanities.
This two-year position is supported by an award from the Rector’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (RPFP) at Stellenbosch University. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Marina Joubert. Funding for the second year of the fellowship is subject to the successful publication of at least two articles in a recognised journal and demonstrated satisfactory progress on the assigned project. Funding beyond the second year depends on progress made and the availability of funding.
We welcome applications from individuals who have completed a PhD in the last five years. Specifically, we are seeking candidates with a PhD in science communication or a related topic relevant to public engagement with science. If you meet these criteria, we encourage you to apply.
