CREST hosting FAMELAB with the Centre for Invasion Biology

CREST (SciSTIP) has joined forces with the Centre for Invasion Biology (CIB) at Stellenbosch University to present young researchers with an opportunity to participate in FameLab – a competition designed to equip them with confidence and skills to present their research to public audiences in an engaging and entertaining way. The group of young researchers (the age limit for FameLab is 35 years) participated in FameLab training on 2 February 2016 and will return on 18 February 2016 to participate in a regional final. The winner will participate in the national final at SciFest Africa during March 2016. From there a South African winner will be selected to represent the country and the international FameLab finals in the UK.
