Evaluating Inclusive Innovation System Performance: A Study of the Nigerian Agricultural Innovation System
The study follows an approach of a combination of theory, framework development and evaluation to investigating the performance of innovations for inclusive development. The study utilises the qualitative approach to framework development and evaluation built on the conceptual framework analysis (CFA). The framework development process is guided by the systemic policy approach – a 6-stage process of evaluating an innovation system which combines the structural and functional analyses to identify systemic problems and suggest systemic instruments to address the problems. The evaluation will be undertaken using three main methods: consultation of experts, event history analysis, and collection of primary data using the case of the Growth Enhancement Support (GES) System in Nigeria agricultural system.
