Capstone assignment title:
Why PhD Students Failed to Graduate on Time at Institute of Public Health, University of Gondar?
Capstone assignment abstract:

Universities are contributing to a knowledge-driven economy by establishing a vibrant democracy, innovative economy and other societal benefits in health, nutrition, governance and environmental protection. Similarly universities in Ethiopia considered knowledge production and technology transfer as key inputs for poverty reduction. Though the need for doctoral graduates increases in Ethiopia, the on time graduation of doctoral students is becoming an obstacle to achieve the envisioned knowledge-driven economy. As a result, in this capstone assignment, I tried to investigate why PhD students fail to graduate on time at the Institute of Public Health, University of Gondar-Ethiopia.
