The Global Research Institute of Paris (GRIP) has launched a new project called “Open Science in Latin America and Africa” aimed at promoting open science practices and fostering collaborations between researchers in these regions and Europe. The project will provide training and support for researchers to share their work openly, increase the visibility of their research, and improve the reproducibility and transparency of scientific research. The ultimate goal is to create a global network of researchers who are committed to open science and collaboration, and to encourage the development of research ecosystems that are equitable and inclusive.
Part of this project is Dr Francois van Schalkwyk, a postdoctoral research fellow at SciSTIP and CREST.
