Dr Ziyanda Majombozi contributed a chapter in The Routledge Handbook of Feminist Anthropology. Her chapter, titled Mothering in the Decolonial Moment, explores how movements like Rhodes Must Fall and Fees Must Fall intersect with the intimate spaces of mothering. She demonstrates how these movements compelled Black middle-class mothers to reflect on their roles in race-work and mother-work.
