ACADEMIC PROFILE:
Primrose Z.J Bimha (PhD) is a Gender studies and International relations scholar who has worked in academia, government, and non-profit sectors. Her research interests include: (1) Gender, Sexualities, and Education; (2) The role of women in politics and international relations; and (3) The role of the African Union (AU) in promoting human rights. Prior to joining Stellenbosch University Primrose taught courses on Transnational Feminism, Gender & Development, and Global Governance, at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
Her academic qualifications include a PhD in Political studies, Master’s in International relations, Honours in Gender and Transformation, and a Bachelor of Social Science – all from UCT.
