Capstone assignment abstract:

Doctoral candidates enrolled for doctorate in mathematics choose their topics together with their potential supervisors. This has had an impact on the supervision model adopted by the universities in Kenya as well as completion rates. Most preferred supervision model in mathematics in Kenyan universities is co-supervision with completion rates at 60% within average of five years. The results were obtained after online survey and performance of statistical analysis.
