Vehicle Tender

The Stellenbosch University, Transport Services, located in Banghoek Street, will host a vehicle sale on Tuesday 15th of March 2022. The vehicles can be viewed from 08:30 to 16:00 and all written tenders must be in before 16:00 on that day.

Official vehicle tender

All SU vehicles are sold by written tender. The vehicles may be viewed on the specific day from 08:30 to 16:00 at the vehicle pool at 48 Banghoek Road. Tender forms in sealed envelopes must be handed in at this address before 16:00 on the tender day. All tenders are subject to certain conditions.

General vehicle sales

Private vehicles may be advertised and sold via Vehicle Services. If the vehicle is sold, commission of at least R1 000 per vehicle will be charged. Forward all the details of the vehicle (year model, make, colour, price and any extras on the vehicle), as well as contact numbers to llang@sun.ac.za with the subject line: Vehicle sale and, for example, 2014 Hyundai Grand i10, White, 120 000km, name and cell number.

Consultation services

At Transport Services, we provide a number of consultation services to University staff and students. Besides providing assistance with, and advice on, the purchase and/or sale of vehicles, we also negotiate competitive prices and financing for vehicle purchases and negotiate after-sale service.
