Unit for Environmental Ethics

The Unit for Environmental Ethics is an academic, research and consulting body with a focus on the independent analysis and critical evaluation of environmental values.

It seeks to improve the quality of environmental decision-making in a developmental context. It sets out to achieve this by creating awareness and critical understanding of environmental values and their role in environmental policy and decision-making among leaders in business, government, and civil society.

The Unit’s work comprises activity in the public and private spheres, academic and popular media, and the local and international contexts.
