Interaction between methods of transport

Stellenbosch

On the Stellenbosch campus and in the town itself attention is given to the establishment of safe pedestrian routes and the encouragement of walking, and the use of bicycles and campus shuttle services. In order to reach campus, consideration is being given to encouraging lift clubs and the establishment of public transport services for the broader Stellenbosch as well as from outside Stellenbosch. 

Tygerberg

Tygerberg’s integrated solution looks a bit different. The campus primarily lends itself to walking and provision is therefore being made for safe pedestrian routes. The campus can be reached by means of lift clubs and public transport services.
